  2. And apparently didnt know about Australia's retirement system. The govt "allowed" people to use their retirement funds to support themselves during covid lockdown. Many lost a lot and need to work much longer now.

Or, the whole countrys workforce could just tank the gdp of the country by stopping work to get their attention, and to demand congress to ensure social security is bolstered so that can be the primary retirement due to erosion of company pensions by congress. Payout based on turning age 62 and cost of living in local area. This means that retirees in LA will get more than those in lonely tree, Idaho.

  5. Social security should be prioritized as much as the military, if not more. You never hear about "We just can't afford it" when it comes to military spending and endless wars, but suddenly "we just don't have the money" logic is applied to social security. 🤔
