  30. Sometimes I wonder what my country would do if it ever got as bad as Argentina or even the US with drugs. The SDF helps with humanitarian stuff, but I don't think they'd want to turn their guns on their own people...or anyone else for that matter (SELF defence force). But if they're protecting their fellow citizens and calling them domestic terrorists, perhaps it could be worked out 🤨

  37. ​ @eranir1  You'd be surprised what can stand in a democracy. Locking up citizens just because of ancestry or original landowner was perfectly fine, for example (japanese-American concentration camps, as fdr called them, and native Americans, respectively).
