  1. How would you compare this to the IRA or even the pre-republic of Ireland independence? Didn't they engage in terrorism too? Didn't the British take property? The 1997 peace still holds. The 1922 sovereign Irish republic still stands.

  2. ​ @Mr_Stav  It actually resembles the US, with its checks and balances, except with a king instead of a president. For example, the king can veto bills passed by both houses of parliament, but the parliament can override veto by ⅔ vote.

  3. How about making Palestine an independent country, but administered by the UN directly (eg kosovo) or as a UN trust territory (under un but administered by another country (eg many postwar colonies prior to independence)?

  5. ​ @eranir1  You'd be surprised what can stand in a democracy. Locking up citizens just because of ancestry or original landowner was perfectly fine, for example (japanese-American concentration camps, as fdr called them, and native Americans, respectively).
