  4. They shouldn't need to. Just my 🪙🪙 What is the purpose of taxes, if not to help the people? Surely, you're not spending all of it on roads and warfare? How about getting rid of the payrol tax (or whatever they call it in germany) and switch to 15% of vat and/or income tax to provide everyone with a comfortable living, pegged to inflation.
