  1. Western democracy is lumped together. I would say that the old UK (1660s-1900) was version 1.0 with countless bugs, including rotten bourroghs, lords, limited voting rights. US is version 1.5. New zealand, with its MMP system and reserved seats for indigenous is version 4.0—best one so far. Room for improvement? Of course. Waiting for version 5.0 release. 😂
