  3.  @C.I...  No, opposite, new the new particulate filters previously seen only on Diesel will remove solids from gas engine exhaust; engine performance can be tuned for whatever back pressure the filters cause, but anything like the sound of straight pipes is extremely muted as a side effect of particulate filtration.
