  2. ​ @minigiant8998  while I agree that not confronting your fears is unlikely to help you get over them, I would also say that approaching them in an environment that produces such an extreme rejection, while providingthe person little personal control over the situation, is more likely to deepen anxiety and cause further trauma rather than help ppl get over the fear. I just think he should've been allowed to do this at his own pace, with being able to say no and ppl listening and respecting that.
