@urphakeandgey6308 "And just to clarify, he's not saying send them out into the front lines." Why not. Why should women not be sent to the front lines?

@derljackson5365 "Woman were seen as PROPERTY??? " stop making stuff up. they were not seen as any more property as the men were considered property. THis is just some propaganda from the matriarchy.

@yaeli_i_guess "That argument is stupid lmao I'm a woman from a country where women have to serve in the military too." it is a very good argument. You are living in a differet situation now. Women can vote in your country, so your point is moot.
6
@BillyBasd "They don't have to be infantry" Then why should men... THe vote should be linked to the most dangerous part, not the safest.
5
@ViniciusVieira13 "Until the 1970s, women needed their husband’s permission to get a credit card," Most men did not have credit cards at that time. it was a brand new invention, makes sense that they had some odd rules for 15 years or so.

@FrankElec Just because you are ignorant about how many dies from childbirth does not mean that more have died from war.

@GigaNietzsche In the ethnoracial group of whom the vikings consisted of the women had roperty rights, inheritance right and divorce right... And the "short period of time" was longer than countries like USA or modern France.
3
@FrankElec "that maternial deaths was at 1% which is doubtfull. " Yes, this is highly doubtful. it was probably much higher. 1% is relatively modern. Only during wars like ww1, ww2 and gengis khan and maybe a few other examples would have war deaths be higher than childbirth deaths. even wars like the ukrainian war now kills fewer than dies in childbirth.
2
This is just wrong. Viking women had property rights, inheritance right and divorce right.

Surely by now, you are rather rich and well set? Time to start using the advantages you have built up during the years i order to get a wife.

Do the math genius. how many do you think war has killed? how many do you think childbirth has killed.
1
@bw9382 "But if you take into account civilian deaths in wars over this same peroid it would definitely be more dying due to wars. " but then if you take into consideration that we are now at the lowest childbirth mortality rate EVER, the 50 mil number gets jacked up a bit.
1
@Paul_Sergeyev "Well, they were extremely dependent" So not enslaved then...
1
"Does not make sense at all" Why not? What evidence do you really need? Apart from perhaps during world wars or ghengis khan did people die more from war than from childbirth.
1
@vorynrosethorn903 tribal societies are the minority of societies.
1
@FrankElec "Like i said from the beginning, where is the evidence?" just common sense combined with historic research. at least 1% of childbirths used to end in death. That means that if there has been around 100 billion people then as an absolute minimum 1 billion people have died from this. wars are considered to have killed about 150 million to 1 billion.
1
@FrankElec But for every person born, there is a mother, not relevant if the baby is male or female. and a pregnancy resulting in a birth.
1
@FrankElec "You can do research in the past 200 years. More men died fighting in war than maternal death during this period." but why limit yourself to such a short time period? and why 200 years? why not even shorter. lets say since the year 2000. google says that less than 5 million have died since then. while at least 6 million due to childbirth. and childbirth now is way way less dangerous now than in earlier times.
