  8. How do you mean “lone wolf’s usually fail”? Not really. At least, not before the 1990s. Lone wolf assassins also killed Martin Luther King, Malcolm X, John Lennon, etc. And they maimed George Wallace, Larry Flint, Ronald Reagan, etc. Even recently; Steve Scalise was maimed by a lone wolf and almost died.

  9.  @carlsaveus1735  I agree. I cringe at the myth so many people believe without checking about John F. Kennedy being any “progressive”. He may have looked like a breath of fresh air after Ike Eisenhower and compared to Nixon & Goldwater but he was without question a social conservative and on the political & economic right. He had very strong traditional Roman Catholic values and he was also a veteran of the war and strongly anti-communist, pro navy & pro military and was for a diplomatic big stick. For some reason the baby-boomers acted as though he was one of them instead of what he actually was: Of their parent’s generation that they resented.

FYI: James Earl Ray proudly admitted he assassinated Martin Luther King and plead guilty. So your conspiracy theory is extra silly.

  13.  @Code_Dee  The only that made me ever half-raise an eyebrow about the Kennedy assassination was former mobsters like Michael Franzese being adamant that organised crime took Kennedy out, and that's pretty weak. Even if there's any truth to that: Oswald could still well have been the assassin that they manipulated into doing the job. The evidence against Oswald is overwhelming. And none of you deniers can ever explain why on earth he shot a patrolman dead on a Dallas street in front of over a dozen witnesses nor why he played up during his arrest in a cinema full of people. Oh wait, you probably don't actually know about that.

  28. Sirhan sirhan wasn’t a lone nut he had connections to Palestinian organisations. This was the 1960s, surveillance technology was very primitive compared to today. Lone nuts also almost assassinated George Wallace and did assassinate MLK and Malcolm X. Even in the early 80s a lone nut assassinated John Lennon and almost assassinated Reagan. Sorry but your point is moot.

Beyond the fact that James Earl Ray's prints were all over the murder weapon and the room it was fired from: He proudly confessed to the killing to police, explained how he did it which fit with the evidence, and pleaded guilty. And none of this is relevant to the fact that this was yet another successful lone wolf assassination even if whatever absurd conspiracy theory has any validity. End of discussion.

  35. I really wish this reverse-racism about Shapiro and giving him any respect on the fact he happens to be Jewish would cease. The man is a limited lightweight idiot. He was handed everything in life via unimaginable privilege and he just can’t think laterally. You were the one making any claim here: That the assassins being known to the FBI somehow justifies skepticism. I asked you how that works (because the rational conclusion for me is the opposite) and yet all you’ve done is run from proving that and started getting ultra defensive and lashing out at me. So after 3 chances: I will conclude that you were taking bollocks and that the fact the FBI has prior files on the assassins is not ground any skepticism at all (and actually the opposite).

  46.  @jesperpedersen3430  Rittenhouse and his mother had the unfortunate naive judgment to hire that first lawyer (can’t remember his name) who used them and got Kyle to (unknowingly) pose with members of the proud boys. So there were grounds for him being mislabeled as a white supremacist.

Because it was a safe (if ultimately mistaken) assumption. He’s even said so himself. And he’s also said that what he did was stupid and that he regrets it. Nobody has the right to indulge in vigilante justice. The presence of vigilante’s made no difference to whether any damages would be incurred in Kenosha or not and all that resulted was that he shot people and the crowd became further inflamed. Was that a better outcome?

Who in their right mind would go and take a gun to a place to protect the property for people they’d never heard of? I have never heard anyone ever claim that he went there to “shoot black people”.
