@bruderschweigen6889 "keep an eye on Italy we know their history" If you're a German, that has to be the ultimate in irony. And hypocrisy.

@birdatbattlefield ...and Croatia.

Nothing would please the Kremlin more.

@bruderschweigen6889 Why on earth would anyone who's not German or Austrian call themselves "Brüder Schweigen" for?! What a lame, dorky name! Yeah you're right I didn't know what you were talking about. Because you were talking pseudo history...

Rocco Red Oh yes and I really think that the more than 15 million Turks who live on the Northern side of the border are just going to agree with that. Excellent one (*claps*).

NATO and EU have nothing to do with each other! And Turkey has not sought EU membership for well over a decade, since before Erdogan took power.

Turkey isn't trying to benefit Russia It's trying to benefit NATO and Finland. Finland joining NATO will be bad for both Finland and for NATO. Turks know the Russians and how to handle them better than anyone.

@mountainleopard5370 Erdogan's not that popular, he's very divisive and hated by many, and he rigs elections. Although he's no less legit than Viktor Orban or that awful Zoran Milonovic in Croatia.
1
No Turkey will maintain this. And they are correct to block Finland joining. They're actually acting in everyone's best interest.
1
Can you state when Turkey was ever an unreliable ally in history?
1
"Turkey is all about being in partnership with Russia..." Complete nonsense. Turkey has been at the vanguard of warning about Putin and opposing him. Who do you think gave Ukraine the best drones and who was actually fighting Russians in Syria.
1
Yes weakening a key NATO member would make so much sense (en sarc).
1
Greece joined NATO in 1952.

@oguzhanserttas1329 No nation has ever yet left NATO once joining.
