  14. No apology offered poms: The EU won’t be allowing you back in until 2035 at the very earliest. You went through with this stupidness on the basis of a thin majority of a non-binding referendum (which was a ridiculous way to determine something so important). You keep electing Conservative party governments. Your government acted as dishonourably as possible in negotiations. And for years your media and politicians were undermining and disrespecting the EU. You chose your poison. Now live with it.

  15.  @Iazzaboyce  Ah no. The EU neither needs nor wants the UK. And they’ve got good reason to let the UK suffer it’s self-inflicted hardships. They’ll wait until ~2035 (when the current tabloid-reading baby boomers and ailments are more dead and gone) before allowing the UK to commence the long joining and integration process, and no special treatment again this time.

I’m someone who was telling everyone that Putin was not to be trusted 10 years ago when he was rubbing shoulders with actors etc. And even I can tell you that your statement is absurd.
