  6. The US nuked Japan because they wanted to show their dominance and intimidation towards everyone else (especially the Soviets). It wasn’t for Pearl Harbor, I believe. The US will protect Japan because it’s an ally. We aren’t idiots.

  7. Xing Ha Lee It wasn’t needed, but they wanted to display their power and see the results of the blast, which is why they took pictures and videos directly after. Maybe, the first one could’ve been necessary...but not the second bomb, I think that’s just overkill. So I agree. I’m not “delusional”, I know they’re a essential component to warfare, just like Hawaii was before WW2. But they still let them have their emperor/monarchy, unlike Hawaii, so that must mean they didn’t hate them entirely.
