You don’t know anything about Japan. This is certainly about sexism, and Japanese men still believe women are inferior...this is a well-known fact that’s still apparent. The 3D printer is irrelevant to the big picture over what’s morally right and wrong. They arrested her the second time because they were pissed off over her art, so don’t even try to make further excuses on a topic you’re a complete amateur in. Educate yourself before you post a giant comment that’s rendered useless when it comes to actual facts. It’s pathetic.

The real reason is because of sexism. They don’t want women being empowered in any form. Also, I’m glad I got into anime way before that whole “weaboo” bullshit.

In case anyone is reading this, I’d like to point out that a male mangaka author, Nobuhiro Watsuki (Rurouni Kenshin) was arrested for child pornography. Unfortunately he was released straight away and his serialization was resumed. This is a great example of how sexism works in Japan. Pedophilia in manga and animation is entirely normal, yet showing a vagina is not? Again, the OP is not educated in Japanese history, so instead of listening to someone who likes to rant, please do your own research instead.

Doj Kim Apparently you don’t know anything about Japan if you’re writing such ignorance.

Crimea River No. it was about art. She got in trouble because she sent the scanned image of her vagina, which was in 3D, to the people who donated her money for the kayak project. Please don’t stray away from the topic: this is about art. Don’t forget, expressions in Japan is very sexism because males dominant the society.

Ty RoseXXX I'll never quit stating facts and educating individuals. If you think this is "crying", I think you should talk to the OP:

Doj Kim I merely read your comment that was based on nothing? You tried to blame Vice? But in the end you weren’t even educated in this topic. I suggest you grow up and start educating yourself before you talk too much. I’m an enthusiast in animation and history, so of course I know how the history of Japan. I felt the need to reply to your arrogance, acting as if you know anything of their mediums of art, when you don’t. If you want to be further educated in Japanese society and their culture, just ask me and I will provide references for you to research.
