@amayia No, I'm referring to the Satanists.
The whole concept of a hell, was made up by one individual, Saint Augustine; it's actually not in the Bible. Dante's Inferno is another contributing factor. Therefore, it's just propaganda.
The Good and Evil concept, as I said, is referenced in other pagan religions.
I see! A few of my favorites pantheons, are Norse, Greek, Cetlic, and Hindu.
As an atheist, I'm glad I found another interesting individual such as yourself :)

@amayia4361 I see.
NYC is pretty cool...I love central park XD
Exactly. Religion tries to find a meaning, in questioning what it is to be human.
Yea, too bad you can't say that to a religious person (they won't accept that fact). Even though it's barbaric because it's two thousand years old, as you said.
Well, there has been a rise of atheism in the past few years. However, I've also seen pseudoscience become a thing...so it's still a mess. I think religion won't ever disappear, there's too many humans who need to believe in something, either because they're lost, vulnerable, or simply want to belong.
I agree with you, although communism has really ruined that ideal of an atheist utopia, lol. Jokes aside, I've just accepted religion and educated myself in everything so I can feel comfortable in any situation; otherwise, I just ignore religious people if I have to.

amayia They don't actually believe in Satan. But you're right, the Old Testament, which is the first major Abrahamic religion, is based mostly on fairytales. Allah, Yahweh, and Jesus are mythical/imaginary characters, except scholars believe Jesus could've been real.
These religions are all based on pre-existing pagan religions, such as The Epic of Gilgamesh and Zoroastrianism.
Modern holidays, like Christmas and Easter, are actually pagan traditions that were celebrated by the Germanic tribes/Anglo-Saxons. They were called Yule and Ēostre. The Christians weren't able to get rid of these pagan traditions entirely, that's why they're still celebrated and appreciated by the countries that they came from.
