  2.  @zita1213  I guess what I really mean, is that I don't care for a "personal story", when I just think of it as a normal conversation. I think people are sometimes too insecure and afraid to share anything these days without facing backlash because everyone gets offended.

  4.  @cindytakyi8222  Avatar is definitely the best anime influenced show I've seen in North America. The creators of the show picked a really rad Korean studio for the show. I have also seen the sequel, LOK, and it can't match the orginal, imo. I have also seen the live action adaptation...sadly; it was definitely one of the worst movies I've ever seen, lol. But if you love Shounen-esque shows, you should totally check out some anime classics like One Piece or Yu Yu Hakusho. I can talk animation for hours, there's so much content and history to talk about XD

  7.  @cindytakyi8222  Yep, I super agree XD I've seen all Shounen shows, and I'd say to ignore Naruto and Bleach (especially Bleach because it's just garbage, lol). Now, I think One Piece is definitely worth it because it goes into many mature themes, like slavery, corruption, and drug trafficking, for example. It really deserves its place as the top-selling manga, even though the fan-service can be annoying at times (the early animation didn't have any of that nonsense). The reason why you probably hated SAO, is because it's based off a light novel and not a manga, which means there's massive quality differences in the content. Light novel adaptations have a specific art style that distinguishes itself from the manga format, and if you seen SAO, it means you've seen all the other LN adaptations. But if you're into mature works, I can also give you some of my favorites? As you said, Shounen has a lot of cliches and tropes XD

  10. Branden Potter No, lol, I’m just saying it sounds kinda dramatic. You’re obviously not going to have one, so-called “personal story”, and even if that were the case, it’s not that interesting to me. Instead, I love sharing other stories about the world.
