@vixenbbydoll I’ve had realistic dreams too. Just a month ago I had a dream where I was knife fighting some dude in my kitchen, and it felt real. Or other dreams where it included some sort of violence or pain sensations, but it’s part of my subconscious relating to gore.

@mentaicases You’re obviously projecting. I’m not “hating” on anyone, because if I was, I’d be insulting everyone...but I’m not. Don’t take it to heart and start manipulating my intentions. I told you, I dream a ton and experienced all types of dreams, so it’s only fair I express my opinions on this “trend”.

@mentaicases So go do it? Why are you getting so upset over my opinion on how I feel about it? I’m just saying, it sounds exaggerated for a reason, so others can easily get interested, essentially like “clickbait”. I’m not saying dreams in general can’t be used for some creativity, you can reference them in your stories, for example. But creating an original, unique story takes time to develop, and dreams are not suited for in-depth storytelling.

@shinigamisecret Not one individual on this thread has even given me an example of their own personal “reality shift” dream or whatever. Until someone does, and not give me a giant reply of copy-paste, pseudo-science nonsense, then they’re simply in the wrong. This “reality shifting” sounds extremely detailed, to the point where it becomes a joke.

@Lil’ meow meow You’re also insulting individuals who are genuinely creative with their storytelling. Do you know how hard it is to create an interesting story that’s so unique to not reference anything else these days? It’s very hard. I’m a comic artist myself and it could take a long time to come up with a concept that is unique in its own way.

@itskendall9196 I’ve experienced the same thing, and they were just “weird” dreams where I had not control over...and they weren’t even lucid. Examples: the knife fight where I was slashing and getting slashed, I could feel the sensations. I had a dream where I was eating a mountain of Little Debbie cakes and I could taste them. Many “nightmarish” dreams where I had a sensation, of utter despair, where I thought I was literally going to die inside the dream. I’ve also had a few dreams where I felt “pure bliss”, like I was on some THC strain. Again, these are my opinions, and I can’t relate to the “term”, or take their advice on dreams seriously.

@DejaVu-xz9yk Having sensations inside a dream has happened many times to me, and I never had to go to “another world”, or be referencing a specific show or movie to get those feelings.

@bunniesarecutep2494 “You can only lucid dream for 90 minutes”? I’ve had dozens of lucid dreaming scenarios, and never once, have I counted how long a lucid dream lasted. I can’t take that that exact amount of time seriously, as if you said it was a “fact”, lol. Instead of all the explanations, since it just doesn’t make sense to me in the least, give me an example of your personal “reality shift” story instead?
