+Dingbala Ahkmed Don't be close minded, they're not wrong. You could easily develop a simple game that could make you wealthy in a short amount of time (Braid). Or, you could work on an indi game (with at least 2 people) for a few years and become a millionaire...sell it on steam and consoles, you're set for life. Repetitive games are the leading factor of the money-making businesses, and they have been for the last few years. For example, you've got repetitive Facebook/mobile mega games, like: Candy Crush, Clash of Clans, Angry Birds, and Subway Surfers. Then you have repetitive console/pc games: Overwatch, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Destiny, and Rainbow Six Siege. The system of repetitive games is easy: the weapons skins, DLC, and outfit skins are what the masses are wasting their money on...virtual aesthetics.

CanisLupus1987 lol, an art major gives me credibility in that field. You have zero knowledge on the subject, and you could easily look at the early 20th century movements (Marcel Duchamp) on google, you’ll be corrected in your ignorance. Everything in this world is art, doesn’t mean everything is pretty, art is subjective. Natural occurrences in nature is art, human beings are art, seen through early cave paintings and the renaissance. This is definitely “art”, the guy is posing, takes different perspectives, and is experienced with photography. Again, porn is art, the naked body is art, anatomy is complex and dynamic, look at the muscles of bodybuilders for reference or in depth details of the external human body.
Your “definition of modern art “ is wrong, I corrected you. There is no “definition” of art, the art world evolves to fit certain trends, and right now it’s contemporary.

Danielle Spargo Yes, the younger generation is more progressive, but it still has its dysfunctional traits. The same with the boundaries with male adults and girl bands, along with the issue of male adults paying for company with female students, for instance.
I agree with the city being my least favorite thing! I love nature and the countryside more. I have seen too many videos with Japan and it’s beautiful landscapes, lol.
He drugged you? Can you explain? Well, I’m sure Florida isn’t the best place to go for work XD
I hate everything about Florida, lol. Yea, it all depends where you work, and what field you’re in, I would assume.

@BothHands1 I think you're exaggerating Goodnight Punpun. It's obviously overrated because people don't read Inio Asano's other work and don't criticize Punpum for having some weak points in its writing. It's a decent read, for sure, but it's definitely not a "masterpiece" , or "hauntingly accurate"...whatever that means.
The most unique aspect is, of course the birds, which puts a spin on the dysfunctional family situation.
I think you should definitely read and expand your horizon with Seinen, as someone who's a historian with manga, there's been a surge of many new Seinen that have really impressed me on how it's evolved in storytelling.
If you're looking for better stories/writing, imo, than Punpun, I'd say check out Himizu and We Did It.

Sloppy Toons I’ve never used clip studio, so I can’t judge on that program. I used Procreate for a while on my iPad when I brought it more than 2 years ago...I hated it. It definitely wasn’t diverse for anything comic related. Besides not having the comic format, it just felt odd to draw on, their brush selection sucked, and the transform tool didn’t work for me. Now I use an app called “Comic Draw” and it not only solved my problem, but it didn’t feel like complete ass; Procreate is a disgrace of a program for Apple, imo. The UI for Photoshop never gave me a problem, and I’ve used it for almost a decade. Like any Adobe program, they always find a way to make the new version more complicated and never solve little problems that should be solved (they’re very inconsistent in that aspect).
JBstyle has pretty cool art, and I love his UI, it looks very stylistic. Some people feel more comfortable using Illustrator, I don’t, lol. Yea, for now I invested in my iPad, I don’t even use Adobe, but in the future I want to buy more shit for drawing digitally. Anyway, good look to you in the future with your art :)

Nick Bloom
Nonetheless, this movie, as stated by the director, is another "home invasion" thriller. Yea, we've had a ton of those (Don't Breath, Hush, Get Out) this year, and last...so it's a dying trend, imo. It's basically a limited stage-set/theater esque movie, and I think there's a ton of better psychological thrillers out there.
If you're looking into "real" thrillers, Korean movies are your destination.

+I DO WHAT I WANT DO WHAT I SAY GOOGLE "The system isn't going to change"
I never said that, dude. You're the one complaining about another individuals life, when it's none of your business, anyway. Again, this is an issue that has no impact or relevance to our financial problems, the U.S. is taking our money and is wasting it on prison inmates, monopolizes the poor with their bullshit companies, and feeding the military with an overzealous amount of power. Seriously, this is not the issue, you're wasting your time, do your research on what the government is actually doing with our money.
"I'd really enjoy finding out what kind of unique perspective you have that gives you the ability to claim that school is a waste of time compared to personally motivated research. Have you superseded your own university training with at-home research?"
Again, school is a waste of time...especially in the U.S., because you're paying for something that will ultimately not give you expectations that you had hoped. "motivated research" is passion towards your future ambitions, which are limited in any type of school; I'm not saying are learning "nothing", but you could be learning way more on your own. There are "rules" in school that limit your own brain power (of course, this depends on the individual), one of which, is being "pressured" on your school work (peers and schooling environment) and standardized test that have no real benefit towards your intelligence. Yes, iv'e basically "superseded" my own "university training", because I don't need it...since Iv'e taught myself way more than any school could ever teach me.
"You cannot blame the failings of a system on the system itself when you have the ability to input change and affect its success."
I'm not blaming anything, I'm being realistic.

I’ve seen you spam this comment many times, and I can only agree with it so many times. This is absolutely brilliant, the philosophy to end all philosophy, the so-called “endism”. We’re delusions in our own delusions.
As an intellectual myself, I believe “doing nothing” is what this world needs. Arguing with yourself and drinking tea is meaningless, while there are babies being born with mutated DNA sources. Very disturbing and maddening, indeed.
So again, torture is endless, and so is our brains. Therefore, we need to stop the evolution of our DNA, along with the notion of “thinking”, which is the philosophy, that is, “endism”.

Mammon Biologically speaking, you’re wrong.
So, you’re saying you can stop a serial killer from killing?
You’re saying you can stop an individual from committing suicide before they know they’re going to kill themselves?
Sorry, but you’re not a mind reader, you can’t comprehend mental illnesses...nobody can. You can’t understand pure hatred, because extremism is complete nonsense. Believe me, I used to have a “positive” outlook on life, but I’ve gone through every “perspective”, and it comes down to idiocy.
I never said it was “too hard”, I basically said it’s “impossible” to predict the unpredictable. You’re a human who can only so much, you have to accept how dysfunctional humanity is as a whole. “Peace” is a fantasy word that’s used for a calming effect, it’s not used for action.
You can only impact humanity so much, you’re a fragile mortal; but at least you tried.

Mammon I only brought up Darwin because you used him against me, which in fact was contradicting your point, since he was also a pessimist who hated both religion and human genetics before he died.
By me referencing biology, I was strictly talking about genetics and the brain, since mental illnesses are a frequent topic in society, especially with technology involved. However, it still proved my point, that you cannot stop/escape from unpredictable situations, which involves an individual who is bent on killing in general (including extremist and mentally ill). No matter how much you “preach” on morality, there is no in between on saving anyone if you can’t fully understand them.
I’m a “faux” intellectual? lol, really? When I clearly gave you simplistic, straightforward examples on how complex the human mind was, you’re still trying to insult and defend your insecure ego...sure, dude.
You didn’t explain anything, except your immaturity and lack of knowledge in this field. Seems like you know nothing on any form of mental illness, and I suggest you to start researching if you want to start forming an argument for this specific topic.

Chiedozie Nwandieze My dude, I believe in democratic socialism and libertarian socialism. Both socialism and communism in general are very basic concepts, yet right away, they were warped by braindead, egocentric idiots.
Your president, and most of your countries, are run by fascist, military leaders. Let me make it more clear: whoever claims to use the basic philosophy of either socialism or communism, are fascists.
Socialism and communism were ideally meant to help the population. Communism fully failed, however, socialism is very relevant in the US, because there’s many democratic candidates using that term as an agenda to win. The definition of “socialism” is cooperation and communication with the people...that’s literally it.
Your “definition” is propaganda...probably because of your fucked, PTSD, warmongering, fascist president.
Anyway, I’m really tired of hearing how these philosophies are misconceived, even though they’re perceived as a “utopia”, and that’s because they do sound too good to be true. But in the right hands, socialism is the answer to dull capitalism.

Utkarsh Kumar Singh Yes, it’s definitely a “horror” movie in terms of psychological well-being. It’ll show you true fascism in a cinematic experience. One of the best historical accurate representations of war in general, too.
Serbian Film would be another example.
Now, for actual horror movies, I’d list these: Re-Animator, Dagon, Castle Freak, Dolls, From Beyond, The Thing, They Live, The Hills have Eyes, The People Under the Stairs, Splinter, 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later, Day of the Dead, Dawn of the Dead.
This’ll be your introductory into good horror, if you don’t know much about the genre.

LiveDieTrolling Yes, you got me. I’m not a US citizen, I’m actually a Chinese citizen hating on the US.
Really? You didn’t read my comments about human right issues? Didn’t I include education and healthcare? A good example being how I’m in debt after graduating college? How I don’t have healthcare? It seems like you hate reading my comments, similar to other people on this thread.
Oh yea, “internet education”, and not my own personal experiences living in the US, dealing with a corrupt system. My own experience of being assaulted by a cop when he thought I had drugs when I didn’t, only because he didn’t do his job correctly. Yep, no “corruption” there.
Let’s not talk about Obama’s loopholes in Obamacare, his infinite drone strikes, and putting illegal immigrants in cages...let’s ignore all that. Let’s give him a noble peace prize, instead.
I don’t care about Russia, lol.
I’m sorry that I’m a historian, it seems like I’m cursed knowing my political history, along with the lies and scandals :(

?? You don’t even know where your taxes are going?
I, as an individual, am responsible for my own healthcare...not you. You seem confused on how the tax system, and our healthcare system operates.
I wasn’t “gifted” anything. I went through a community college first to save money, but I still have a small debt to pay off. You know nothing about the art world, or it’s broad fields, so let’s not even go there, lol.
We’re built on a purely capitalistic system. Almost all of our social reforms are outdated and have loopholes. We don’t stop for anything else except having the best military, which is used to defend and expand our power of influence across all continents. Similar to what China is doing at a fast pace.
I’m not taking out loans so I can deal with the anxiety attack that is an “interest rate”. I’d rather go through natural means of applying for jobs, paying off my debts, and saving money.
I know enough about the Amish and Mennonites. I study theology and sects.
Oh yea, and I don’t? If you truly understand, then you’d respect and acknowledge how this society works. We don’t have the human rights that we deserve, because our government is too busy with producing the best weapons. That’s our reality.
