I’m pretty sure it’s similar to what you’re taught in school? I didn’t retain anything until college.

Let’s all give respect to the OG, The Brave Little Toaster (1987), which is over 30 years!!

@69mankini What are the degrees?

@ivareskesner2019 They’ll have time to know what they like or don’t. I’ve always believed school in general was superficial, lol, except if you get a teacher who really cared and wasn’t boring.

@ivareskesner2019 What does that mean, exactly? I feel like most of what you’re saying is buzzwords that don’t contribute to your argument? Think about it from their perspective: they’re bored out of their minds either way, until at least they get to higher grades. What does this has have to do with developing countries? I feel this is a tangent leading to another topic entirely, lol.

@windanwomp That’s not true at all. Has everyone forgotten what school was like? I’m 26 and remember it like yesterday: it was mostly miserable and boring, that’s my experience with the school system. They still have plenty of time to develop and find out what they’re interested in. You don’t start caring until you’re a junior or senior in high school, let’s all be real here.

@ivareskesner2019 Developing countries, mostly in rural areas, still can’t be compared to a first world education system. The major difference being is that the kids who are stuck in poverty, think education, in all respect, is true freedom in the genuine sense. Other than doing chores all day, or being slaves to their parents, education is their path to a bright future that is not associated with their parents way of living. This is an entirely different mindset than kids in first world countries, who are thinking of playing video games and sports. But they’re! Lol, you do know the education system doesn’t do any of those things in the first place? It takes years to know exactly where you belong when it comes to education.

@windanwomp Does "social skills" also apply to bullying? Kids can't be bullied thanks to the pandemic? Even though you argue of domestic abuse, maybe it equals out with the bullying and harassment in school? You guys are acting as if this is the end of the world, lol, like they're going to mentally stay at the age of 10 forever. In other words, we adapt and look at the pros and cons, we shouldn't be freaking out over the inevitable. The internet is still the biggest tool for learning, imo, and school was always a waste of time when it came to that.

@StandingWarrior Another reason why school is bad, they spread propaganda around like it's candy.
