Calling me a weaboo doesn't make sense...I don't watch shit anime, my profile picture is Black Jack, not a little anime girl. Aot is overrated...unless you give me reasons why it's not? I'll give you mine: The characters are dull; Eren goes back on his word on "killing every Titan" because he's too weak to do anything besides complain, the story is predictable when it comes to who dies, and the pacing is too slow when it comes to progressing.

Mayuresh Patil I was saying Black Jack the manga was a masterpiece, lol Aot is slow when it comes to other aspects, especially the government arc, it slows down the momentum from the action; I stopped reading it months ago...I can name at least 10 manga that's better than Aot, honestly. "Character death were not predictable" They were predictable to me, as Iv'e said, I can predict everything depending on how the chapter goes. If you're looking for manga that's unpredictable or random, I could name a some, too.

  13. badjazy You should definitely read the manga, then. It's one of my highest rated manga on my list, honestly, Osamu Tezuka is a genius when it comes to storytelling and using his imagination. Black Jack is also legit, because Tezuka was a licensed surgeon before he become the creator of manga.

  14. Mayuresh Patil No, I was making a point about Black Jack, not Aot. I didn't say anything about Aot in comparison with the manga...but mostly every manga is better than the adaption, anyway. I would say read the manga first, but you could watch the 12 episode Black Jack OVA when you're done with the manga. It's the best adaptation and it has it's own interpretation of the stories from the Black Jack manga.

  17. badjazy It was the first manga and anime ever created. That's one of the few manga I did not like, tho, it's too childish and weird for my taste, but a friend told me it has some good parts. I'm curious to know what "few" you've read, can you name them?

  18. Mayuresh Patil Yea, because anime is actually a "sex industry", why do you think most anime these days are ecchi or hentai? They're specifically for the male teenagers demographic, fan-service is used as revenue to keep people from getting bored, and it's derived from their own culture.

  19. badjazy Are you talking about Black Jack? Well, Berserk isn't finished, yet, and probably won't "finish", because the author is taking forever. It's a really good manga, tbh, but I don't really care for it...I lost my attachment to the whole manga and the recent arcs are too light and feels like more of a "Shounen". The author introduced too many characters, and it contradicts the "lone wolf" or dark atmosphere after Guts left the band of hawk.

I'm not sure you'll if you want them or not, lol cause it's pretty big...btw, these are all Seinen.

  22. +Unshaved Malevolence Dude, Gintama is a legit good show, unlike the mainstream majority. I do however, think the "main" story has gotten predictable and cheesy.

  23. Unshaved Malevolence I really like the voice actors, especially Gintama and Katsura. Sometimes it gets boring, but there's some really funny jokes in some episodes, you have to be patient. If you really don't like it, I'd suggest to watch these, instead: Arakawa under the bridge, Barakamon, Daily life of highschool boys, Detroit metal city, and Sket Dance
