Kentaro also postponed Berserk because he got bored of it, and worked on Giganto Makhia, now that's saying something.   10. You have good selections, unlike these Berserk fanboys, they're idiots. Honestly, Berserk isn't even that good, too mainstream for my interest, anyways. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou is awesome, but I don't think it deserves a spot on my list, but it's a relaxing read.

The recent arc with Guts and friends, was boring, too, it took them another 2 years to come to Fairy Island, now it's become even more boring, imo.

I know he mentioned it, I was using a reference for how much similarities there are. I meant "idiotic" for you trying to defend his work ethic, because he's been working on it since 1988 (the prototype), then got replaced by the actual story in 1992 (that's 15 years). Of course he loves painting/drawing, you can tell how much effort he puts into his overall work. Okay, I can compare other manga artist who have even more dedication/motivation: Oda Eiichiro who works 20/21 hours a day, with the exception with one day off (Sunday), and he's been working nonstop for 19 years. Osamu Tezuka was a workaholic who went to medical school (got his license), did both his manga and animation at the same time, while producing at least 2 (comics) works. And, even when hospitalized or had health problems, they still continued working; That's some real shit, dude, don't try to deny their dedication and perpetual work ethic. An artist/literary expanding their story shouldn't be an issue, it's trying to finish it with sincerity. I never said I didn't respect his amazing and unique artistic skills, I'm just frustrated with the lack of chapters or half assed adaptations. Also, not really interested with the recent arc (imo), hope it gets better soon.

There's no sense of "honor" if Griffith betrayed everyone for his endeavors. Kentaro's art hasn't really improved, it's always been perfected in his own unique style, I don't see any "improvements"... Yea, Guts is able to stay "human", because of his comrades, without his allies (puck, mostly) he would go full Berserk, in which the title implies.
