This is also the 21st Century...no? I do think there needs to be major changes to how guns are so easily accessible in this country, like it’s legit candy. Although I do feel like it’s too late to fix anything since there’s a lot of regions in the US that live and breath for guns. It’s so complicated and corrupted that it’ll take decades to even try to reduce the issues we face with gun violence and the manufacturers.

Redant23 Back then, guns took at least 20 seconds to load. I'm sure it wasn't a big deal since you could knock a dude out faster than he reloaded. I still think the 2nd amendment needs to be updated, along with the rest of the constitution.

pzyko zillah I never said anything about it being possible, it’s just an idea. How old are you? You’re acting like a child, even worse than the guy in the video. I’ve memorized the constitution, and, you can indeed add amendments according to Article 5. You listen to Alex Jones too much and can’t think logically about this situation. As a society, we can definitely change laws, as such with the USC (Code of Laws) and limit the use of guns depending on the state and it’s users. I’m not a fan of federalism, because as you can see, it doesn’t work, especially with this idiotic country.

pzyko zillah An “idea” is still important, because I’m expressing myself for an approach towards a solution, and these are called “steps”. It’s only “impossible” because I’m a pragmatist when it comes to the government, in which private corporations are very hard to limit. I strongly believe a revolution is possible to stop these companies/industries, as they clearly go against the 5th amendment. I said “maybe” to clarify that I’m not entirely sure it’s possible, even if it sounds ideal. You need to read correctly and try not to insult my intelligence. I highly suggest you start to educate yourself because you’re very uneducated in your speech and the way you articulate yourself (along with your grammar/punctuation).

pzyko zillah First off, the government is extremely authoritarian. Secondly, there’s such a thing as a “peaceful revolution”; and thirdly, I said to get rid of the excess amount of guns that are stored away in giant warehouses and wherever else that government keeps them. I think we could definitely organize and have a better system of where our guns are going, but we all know the government keeps tabs on illegal weapons as well. I believe an amendment that could reform the 2nd, in a more detailed summary, is needed to stop this chaotic disorganization. Again, one proposal out of many that I would suggest.

milcoll73 I’m confused on everything you’re saying. How are guns “less accessible” if we produce and sell the most guns? And all the guns on the black market come from us? “Liberty” is a very limited word, because we aren’t a “free trade”, we’re sadly not abiding by the constitution. I think you need to educate yourself, since we can change the 2nd amendment anytime.

Although I believe in the rights of the gun manufacturers, I still believe we should keep tabs on the numbers that are being produced (have a better number of where they’re going in the states). I mean, all the black market guns come from the US...

I think we definitely need to update and fix a lot of aspects of the constitution. There’s a lot of things that are literally relevant to that time period. Like for example, look up the 3rd amendment. Anyway, it hasn’t been updated since 1991...and that says a lot.

Joe Mamma You’re very arrogant, which is fine, I was once insecure. Like the dude in the video, you should never jump to conclusions without doing research. Yes, in Article 5 of the constitution, it does say you can propose amendments, which means you can definitely limit the power to the constitution itself. “Unalienable” right do not apply to the constitution, only the deceleration of independence. Most of the founding fathers hated religion/Christianity. If you read the constitution yourself, which I have, you’d notice how some of the amendments are idiotic because they don’t work in today’s society. Anyway, I can tell you’re very passionate about your guns, but that’s why you can’t reason with a solution.
