As I said, the crusades were 200 years. However, it didn’t stop there. Religion was still used as justification for mindless wars. Protestant and Catholics. Shia and Sunnis. Again, it’s propaganda. No different than paganism.

  11. Lemur Theory Whatever you say. I didn’t ignore the details of anything, it seems you’re the one who doesn’t want to accept the truth. All these outdated texts that talk of slavery, rituals, and contradictions have really shaped history for what it is. Religion is a major element of war and destruction; it’s facts. I never said it’s all bad, I respect anyone who is religious, as long as they’re happy and don’t take everything too literal, which is why I dislike religious zealots. The evidence is evident, so again, I can’t talk rational with you and that’s fine. The ones who wrote these bibles were humans...and they were flawed themselves.This is the problem with the religion in the first place.

  12. Lemur Theory God is part of human nature. I didn’t say anything about those texts causing something bad to happen, I said they’re outdated. There are contradictions and vague verses in every bible, thus is why there are sects. No, a zealot is someone who is a fanatical about their religion.

Again, no different than paganism, and I’ll keep repeating it because you’re ignoring a key factor that matters. I never said anything about Jesus in the New Testament. It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with war, God, and the pope. I’m not hating on anything you’re stating. I’m speaking facts. Both Christians and Muslims hated the Jews. It has nothing to do with my personal opinion on race, sexuality, or gender. I don’t appreciate your false agenda to make me into a racist, confused individual when you’re ignoring common sense. And also, religion hates homosexuality because it was practiced in paganism, that’s why there’s still a stigma on homosexuality with the Catholics.
