  1. Its a bullshit lawsuit. I never once ever thought of "lets get it on" while listening to "thinking out loud", although there are obvious similarities. I find Ed Sheerans argument valid: "most pop songs can fit over most pop songs". And i'm sure Marvin Gaye "borrowed" his chord progression from some other forgotten song. Everybody in the music industry "borrows" from everybody, knowingly or unknowingly.
