Because you never feel like you are getting stronger. When they introduced this crap to WoW, I stopped playing that game. It ruins the sense of progression. What is even the point of having levels in the game then? Might as well abolish the entire leveling system, and have all players and mobs remain on level 1 and just switch out the gear once in a while. It feels like just a cheap way of reusing material instead of creating more content. Which it is.

Its okay. Let them. The last sucker hasn't been born yet. And when the game finally releases (IF it releases) and they find that it is an underwhelming bug fest, then they will wake up realizing how they were played and perhaps stop contributing to such scams in the future. But they have to learn, like some of us did getting burned on early access projects for the last 20 years.

@leoleo1035 Yup, they run the risk of the game tanking even before ever reaching release. I've seen this happen before. Attracting too much negative attention at this early stage is not good. Pissing off large parts of their potential player base even before release is bad.

Asmon... tell the game company that if they pay me 120 dollars, I will test their alpha for them. And then another 150 or 200 for the Beta, I might do that too if I have the time and didn't get bored out of my mind with the empty world and limited amount of gameplay in the Alpha. Oh, and if they don't need my help tell them I said I hope their project tanks before release, cause it stinks. Cheers :))

The show was thin legged from the start, with a lot of poorly written, bad scenes and plot holes that made the entire production seem cheap. But after the trouble started with Cavill, it tanked so hard and made all viewers turn their anger and frustration with the show unto the writers and producers. Lol... They got what they deserved.

@MrKevlarkent "this is industry standard by now". Definitely we are seeing this trend more and more, but it was not like this a few years back. So he is not lying. And there was a time when companies payed players to be Alpha testers. This new trend is dumb, and will just tire and disappoint players who participate to the point that this trend will implode and self-destruct in a few years when people realize there is no benefit to paying for all these early access projects that often never even reach release. Just wait and see.

Ahhh ...like those quality testers who group ganked Asmon so hard when he tried to enter the game, he had to leave without playing it. And then the company felt bad and had to relase a video saying, but our safteyzones and ganking griefing security systems are not in the game yet and bla bla bla...lol. Yea, that's quality testers.

Wrong. You still have to buy into Beta. And THEN you buy into the game. These are modern times. Gone are the days where the game companies needed our help. Well, they still do to test their bloody game, but now they mainly need our money... and our time. And then IF the game survives and ever releases, then we get the privilege to buy their game and be happy. :))
