@zoeknap9777 Exactly! She was sent as a scout to get a feel for the place and who was at the house before Sam went in for the killing. This is why she needed to get drunk before talking to John. To calm her nerves down and perform a convincing act. She knew and was in on it. Just as guilty.

That is actually important clue. If they are still bleeding the wound is fresh and the heart is pumping! And this fact may or may not fit with the story later on. Remember, the 911 call is the first part of the police interrogation. The investigation has already begun at that point.

If he is bleeding it means the heart is still pumping and the shooting is fresh. So its a clue that can be used by the police later on. And there is the reason of first aid and stopping the bleeding even in case of head traumas, which the 911 operator can help him with.

@Cooliewhistles Why would she cheat with the guy that just took part in shooting up her husbands place? Nahh... the fact that she needed to get drunk before going to see John says, she needed to calm her nerves down, for acting convincingly and not give the game away. Not to spook John. She was a participant in the murder and just as guilty.

@Cooliewhistles In some countries she would have gotten 1-2 years.

I believe Collette was in on it all the way from the start. She was sent to Johns place before the murder to scout out the place and get a feel for the situation before Sam would get over there. So Sam knew roughly what he was getting in to before the murder. Like if Johns house was full of friends or something like that. She was acting flirty with John as not to freak him out or make him suspicious.
2
@hollystiener16 She was acting flirty to not spook him or make him suspicious of what was about to happen.
2
How do you know that John wasn't part of that first shooting that took place against Sam? It sure seems like it. And his killing was a retaliation. That would make him not so innocent.
2
They didn't miss it. They suspected her involvement from the start. They just didn't confront her with this in the video we have seen here. And sometimes the police keep some info for the trial. They don't tell all they know.
2
Yea, they need to know that for several reasons. Try to figure out which.
2
@D3m3nz4 Don't expect people on youtube to know such things about real life. They only know what they pick up from bad movies.
2
@taubabo4259 Doesn't matter. So what! There can be several reasons for the body feeling cold. Perhaps the man is in shock and imagining it. The cpr has to be done regardless. Some people wake up even hours after being declared dead.
2
@taubabo4259 What you keep failing to understand is that this procedure is also part of the homicide investigation. What he tells or not tells, willing to do or not do, paints a picture of him for the investigators afterwards. He could be lying. Why should the operator take him on his word and just respect his sensitivities and personal boundaries? The operator is not asking him to do a surgical operation or anything nonsensical.

@farrahbrennan8014 Yes, and money fraud or bank robberies.
1
Yea, and so could the police. They just didn't have much proof.
1
Mainly stupid women think that.
1
Problem is that guilty people will try to act as honestly and convincingly as possible. And unless they are hardened criminals who have been through the system many times before, they will not ask for a lawyer thinking it will make them look guilty.
1
@Treviso100 I think they retrieved the license plate from a different camera when the car was driving the other some distance away from Johns house. But they couldn't see the license clearly from this angle where the wheel spokes were visible. But now being able to match those wheel spokes to the correct car, they were 100% sure they were following the exact same vehicle on all cameras on the route.
1
Naah... that is some unbased speculation. John rejected her advance that night before his death, most probably he knew he couldn't trust her. She was sent as a scout.
1
Why would we imagine that we murdered someone or be understanding to the "sheer horror", as you put it, of someone complicit in a killing? That is a very twisted way of thinking.
1
@taubabo4259 So if it's rare it should be neglected and ignored, because it probably won't happen? What if you could bring your loved one back to life? This is the reason why hospitals have 6-hours rooms where dead people are kept. Because even after the doctor has declared a person dead, they are kept for six more hours just in case they might wake up from a deep unconsciousness. It has happened that even after being declared dead by a doctor, a person has woken in a coffin! And this is why the 6 hours- rule. Neither the shocked spouse of the responder on the phone can judge if the person is truly dead. So, safety rules are in place.
1
@taubabo4259 Its not a pain if it can help bring your loved one back to life. Instead of being a child about it you pull your shit together and do it anyway. And there is nothing magical about people coming back to life from a deep unconsciousness. The magic is only in your head. ;) Also, there is the fact that a lot of people lie during 911 calls! Because they are the guilty party. So, by sticking to the program and taking down their statements, or what they will or will not do, is the first part of the investigation. The interrogation has already started. Take the Michael Peterson case with the "accidental" death of his wife falling down the stairs. What he told responders didn't fit the case. He said she had just fallen and there was blood everywhere. When the paramedics came after just 12-13 minutes. They discovered that all the blood was dry and that she had been dead for at least an hour.
1
Oh really?! That's a wild speculation. Lol... And you think Sam would be too stupid to realize some one had moved and hid his guns right before an attempt at has life? And who would that someone be except for her?
1
Probably the police are keeping those info for themselves. Remember there were two people shooting up Sam's place right after John left Sam's house. So there are more people out there involved in this whole business.
1
Wouldn't have worked. Police knew from the start she was scouting out the place before the killing. Remember an attempt had been made on Sam's life a few weeks earlier and Sam knew John was involved. And of course she would also know. For her to start a relation with John after the shooting at Sams house, would just bee too incredible for anyone.
1
@schantzc They way her story grows and grows as the police find more evidence about her does not speak to a woman in fear but of a willing participant. She could have told everything to the police and get Sam out of her life from the first interview if she was scared for her life. Thy jury wouldn't have bought that angle, since she was such a bad liar through it all. Never did she seem truthful.
