For example, if one identical twin has schizophrenia, there’s only a 50% chance the other will develop it too. Schizophrenia is poorly understood, and it’s believed that there are multiple clinical diagnoses grouped into one because science isn’t there yet. If you told me they developed a T1D genetic test that cost hundreds or thousands of dollars per fetus after years of research and clinical validation, I could believe that.   13. The government needs to be the housing provider of last resort. Offer basic, livable commieblock type structures, rent them out at cost. Use the supremacy clause to override zoning laws. Cut all the red tape. Throwing more printed money at a fixed number of houses in the private sector is just going to make this worse. You should be able to rent a livable 350 sq ft studio apartment for $600 a month anywhere in the US. None of the luxury crap. Just a small kitchen, a bathroom, walls, insulation, heating and cooling, no mold. This isn’t rocket science. We managed to build affordable homes at scale for most of modern history. Neoliberalism is the reason why this crisis exists.

Even the ram site is only about 3% of the 4500 homes this town needs to build to meet existing demand. It’s a drop in the bucket. It gets more complex for the soldiers who serve for many years outside of combat. I think that commander did a really good job respectfully conveying the nuance involved.
