  2. ​ @archi-mendel  You sound like a tankie lmao. Every example we have of applying this ideology created a system of unspeakable human suffering, but this time will be different, we swear! Scrum proponents are Little Eichmanns — so eager to be complicit in a system that harms their fellow man for personal gain. The only difference is the ideology and society that shapes their behavior.

  3. A key requirement of any worthwhile process is to provide some resilience against bad actors. Scrum inverts that principle. I don’t think you could create a process that’s more easily abused by talentless room-temp IQ hacks with PM certs and MBAs if you tried. The incentives could not be more misaligned for long-term success. They are all aligned so that management grifters can hit some KPIs this quarter and jump ship right before the chickens come home to roost. The CIA sabotage manual is less effective at killing projects and destroying the wellbeing of workers than the Scrum guide is. It is an evil system, far worse than anything Stalin could have imagined
