  2. There is no way they can invade Mexico without starting the Second Civil War. Which is probably the real goal here, now that I think about it… seriously though, you’d end up with millions of Americans becoming insurgents by the end of the month. Every bridge in Texas would be demolished like the Kerch bridge. Every pipeline in Texas would meet the same fate as Nordstream. Much of the Southwest would end up looking like Mosul at the end of it. It would be a great example for the history books as to how uncommonly wise the USSR was to end itself (mostly) peacefully.

So Biden cancels these horrific sanctions on Venezuela to get that sweet oil. Just further exposes the utter moral bankruptcy of US foreign policy. Cuba has no oil, so no relief for them. We were always at war with Russia. We were never at war with Venezuela. Saudi Arabia is a champion of democratic values. War is peace, socialism is slavery.
