  4. You’re not giving nearly enough credit to PEDs for breaking Joe Rogan’s brain. This is a guy who’s been blasting gear for 20+ years. Steroids have been proven to cause cognitive decline. Especially in the doses that you have to take to deform your skull in the way that Joe Rogan has.

  6. @KarmaVanBuuren to be blunt, they’re never going to be able to clear out an entire town’s worth of debris and toxic waste from the lake. Landslides can’t be undone, that erosion is permanent. We like to forget that Gaia is far more powerful than us hairless apes. If you’re like most Americans, you don’t have the luxury of remaining in denial. You’re going to be an internal climate migrant. You’re not going home. Better to get a move on before your limited resources are burned up.

But it’s unconscionable to signal to your millions of rabid Stans to harass your own child. He’s trying to turn his daughter into the next Chris Chan or something. It’s a kind of evil that’s difficult to make comparisons about. It’s categorically worse than abandonment. It disgusts me in the same way as Errol Musk’s grooming of his stepdaughter-wife. Elon’s daughter just wants to be left alone, and he can’t even do that for her. We need a new kind of restraining order for “influencers,” where you’re not allowed to post about your victims and abuse them stochastically through a mob of Stans.
