It's probably fine. What you hear is the park pawl rattling on the park drum. Just try not to do it anymore, it can cause $$$ damage.

+iiRockyii a good old ZF! Shouldn't matter though really. The principals are still the same, and something tells me your in Europe (UK?) where parts for those are probably cheaper than in the US anyway. Something tells me we're going to get a blast of shit from this guy though.

+iiRockyii I thought BeAnBeAn22 was about to start giving a hard time like everybody else in comments sections, figured the noob remark was just the beginning. There's no shortage of assholes on the internet. Luckily that persons not one.

Older transmissions yes. Most modern (EFI era) transmissions no, most can adjust for wear to a certain point. Also the vid mentioned wearing out the band prematurely but usually the band anchors break off when changing directions w/o stopping.

+MrAsus3571 Yeah 30k between services is about right. There are a lot of different recommendations out there. See what the manufacturer recommends. The shop didn't try selling you a flush so that's a good sign! If you ever do get a flush make sure they drop the pan and replace the filter too. I personally just recommend a pan drop/filter service. If there's no pan, like on a Honda, you just do a drain & fill service and never a flush.
