I appreciate how you've grown into covering engineering aspects of these things that fascinate us to no end. Cheers!

Awesome video! I'm so glad you did this! Beautiful country for sure! You're a good Youtuber because you are not one-dimensional, you are a real person on this planet who might not be my neighbor, but you are my brother!!! Much love to you!

"Turbos in toasters", I just laughed and laughed at that line. I've secretly always wanted to put a turbo on a lawnmower engine. I need help... But I think I'm in good company. Love your vids!!!

I am so proud of you!!! I see a blossoming career in motorsports media in your future! What a great journey this has been...

Dude where do you get those killer euro style coveralls from? I recently went back to work at an auto repair shop and want to get some of those for work. Also, another great vid! I hope to get my hands on an old Celica or Corolla in the near future and your videos are an excellent real-world tutorial! Keep it up my friend!!!

That last part... LOL!!!!

This is so awesome! I'm living vicariously through you and I hope you don't mind. The trumpets or velocity stacks facilitate airflow into the engine by smoothing out the air flowing in. Some people say they're pretty critical but if I remember right the filter might perform that role in their place. The TPS should be just like any other TPS. As in, less than a volt at closed throttle and close to 5V at WOT. Unless it's simply a closed throttle switch but I've never come across that personally, though that doesn't mean it doesn't exist. You can check it with a DVOM set on resistance by connecting the meter and sweeping the throttle. If it's goes from X(random number) ohms to OL then it's a switch. If it smoothly changes from one value to another it's a regular TPS. Being that it's a 3 wire sensor it's likely a regular TPS. Hope that helps and trust I'm not trying to be a jerk! I just wanna see this baby in action! Have you ever heard an ITB car in person? It's pure sex!!!

This makes me even more anxious for season 3 of The Expanse! Awesome vid, subbed.

Excellent work! Watching your channel grow and improve has been a treat.

+driving 4 answers (mr2 mk1 hero) I think this debate is like what a tech defines a throttle body as vs what an engineer defines a throttle body as. I'm a tech so for me anything carbureted has carbs, anything injected has throttle bodies. So which side are you on D4A? The guys who design and engineer this stuff and rarely have to work on it, or the guys in the trenches who have to figure out to make this stuff live in the real world? How you answer will decide your future from here on out. Are you with us, or... J/K! Who really cares?! Its to-may-toe vs. to-mah-toe! As long we know what the other means we'll get along fine.

Can't wait for the initial start up!

Holy shit! A bloody bleedin CNC machine?! You're a goddamn animal, and I mean that in the most positive way. Good to see you back, and I don't blame you for waiting til winter passes. Yesterday was the winter solstice so spring is well on it's way. Take care muh dude!!!

DO NOT BEAT YOURSELF UP! This is where the rubber meets the road. This is the reality I tune in for. We'll get there my friend. It's okay. Have a beer and take a break, the fix will pop into your head like magic!

You've come such a long way! So happy to be on this journey with you!

That was a fun trip! When do we go again?! Awesom video!

Ancient Aliens must've assembled that head. They get confused by anything that doesn't involve some sort of torsion field drive. Tough break but you've got a good attitude, can't wait 'til you get things sorted!

Awwwww shit YO!!!! Excellent subject matter my guy!

Yes! I dig the one with the OG To-Yo-Da logo on it.

You've come a long way...

So close! Can't wait!

This is good stuff. Side draught or flat slide carbs, or ITB's sound like no other on a good 4 cyl engine. I built an 18RGR back in '99, in college. Ended up selling the engine but kept the 40mm Mikuni/Solex carbs it had on it. I didn't wanna part with the engine but I didn't wanna part with the carbs even more. They have Toyota parts tags on them! I doubt pieces like that are a dime a dozen these days...

I cried tears of joy today... I can't believe it that it was running on two cylinders, and I completely understand the second guessing of everything you've touched. I do it all the time. Had to put a thermostat housing in an 07 passat last week, whilst the customer hung around the shop. The feeling of unease was palpable. Love ya bruv, the carbs sound good! Time for a fine tune!

I tried to listen to this while getting my Super License in GT7. I had to stop and watch it instead...

No sir... THANK YOU! You sumbitch!!!
1
Wow! This is so awesome to see your growth! When you get to the point of needing employees can I come work for you? I secretly want out of the US.... Don't tell anybody though. Lol!
1
Next up we fine tune the jetting with regardz to driveability vs performance! And please my friend clean up the shop a lttle bit for safety! Dont go hurting yourself now!
1
You do nice clean work! BTW, are you going to fire it up on the engine stand or install everything in the car then fire it? I just can't wait to hear it run. Speaking of which, I can't remember if you addressed that the carbs need less fuel PSI than the EFI setup. Which vid was that? I wanna watch it again. I'm being impatient I know, I'm sorry!

Your humor is so on POINT!!!

driving 4 answers coveralls! Your work uniform, the awesome looking pants with all those pockets! I wanna be sophisticated too! Lol! Love ya brother!
