  1. An unkwon cat was hunted by another cat. She escaped and jumped on my shoulder, and stayed at me, for the rest of her life. Years later she got hitted by a car, and got injured. She fighted, to arrive back home to me, to get help. I took her to the vet, and nursed her at home, until she became healthy.

  3.  @gardendormouse6479  Thank you, for sharing your story. Animals learns, who is really good to them. And they decide: Thats the best for me, so I stay. See all around, like a pet animal. You have no hands, to open the food cans. You have no money, to buy food. If you are abandoned, no One gives you food, water, milk. No One gives you a warm heated home. Or other weather protections. No One likes you. But ONE Person comes, and give it to the pet animal. So the animal take his chance, to get it. And stay, to get it again and again.

  5. Some animals are soo afraid, and cannot trust Anybody. It needs a long time, to change it. Dogs trust better to human female voices. I think, because it sounds not like danger from another dog.

  6. People and animals wants to get Respect, how they are. Not, if the people wants or expect otherwise.

  7. This cat can decide, where he wants to live. So it´s his choose. He becomes trust to this woman.

  10. Oh yes - I know. A stray cat got hunted by another cat. She jumped on my shoulder to become safe. From this moment, the cat stayed at me, for the rest of her life. One day, she came home, very slow and injured. It looks like she had an accident with a car. I put her to the vet and nursed her at home. Because she knew, that I´m a good person. So she would get help from me, what she need now.

  11. Some don´t want to live with big walls around, and closed door. He needs the freedom of choice - anytime. Some cats, too. They decide, to live at a new place. And never come home again, at his old place.

  12.  @unity20000  But the cat does not trust this home. He trusts him, but not his home. He feels so uncomfortable, that he don´t eat there. But back at his home at the workplace - all well. But cats are cats. If you give them a new home, you must stay cats four weeks there. You cannot expect all, after one night only.
