  6. I think both have made little mistakes, so it escalates. It is ok, that the cop wants to check it, if this person is legal, to be there. The other man better should understand it, and should follow the instruction of the cop. To be a cop is sometimes a very dangerous job in the USA. If the cop get fears of anything, better follow him, to reduce his fears.

  9.  @mrj3784  The man who collects trash can be also a thief, who wants to check out the building for his next burglary ? Ok, this idea looks weird. But ask an experienced cop, what experiences he/she made in this job. But in the US there were also tragedy moments. Where the cop shoots too early, and misunderstood, whats really happened. Even an (prepared) umbrella can be a weapon. I knew it from a bodyguard, who have it.

  10.  @FireRupee  Specially in the US I would never discuss with a policeman. Just to prevend escalations. He wears a police uniform, with all his tools on it. So I can see, that he is a real policeman. To check people about their ID is a normal job for every police. In this situation for a good reason. ie to check, if it is ok, that the person really is allowed, to be there, to do this. It looks harmless, to collect trash. Mostly it is harmless. But it must not be harmless, in every case. We have an official ID Card with photo from the gouverment. (Here in Germany, Europe) Everyone has to have it with him, everywhere, outside of his home. So it is easy for the people, and the police. With a personal number on this ID Card the police and the border police can check it fast and easy.

  11.  @FireRupee  Yes, it looks overstepping. But if the next days, they would happen a burglary. So they check the video recording, and would ask this policeman, why he has not checked this trash collector ? = fail of the policeman.

  12.  Delling Conley  Is that Irony ? I am now in my working office at 2:13 a.m. light is on. Not a normal time, to be there. The reason: Wifi. Because my Wifi at home does not work. And all the other Wifies around me are protected. (Reason: German laws.) If i would be in the US now, I would expect the police. Just to check, if it is ok, that I am here in this building, at this uncommon night time.

  13.  Delling Conley  I have too rare moments with the german police, to comment it. We have a good police, but they need more support. ie more technical support like the police in the US. We have not so much policemen, as in the US. Because it is too expensive for the gouverment, to get more. Germany is divided in 17 states. Every state must pay the most of his own police. Some states are more small of money, as others. So the cops in germany are too busy, to do more. ie checking trash collectors. Even in public traffic. I´m driving near daily. But it is ten years ago, ore more, since my last getting checked by police. But our police is very successfull, to find and catch ie drunken drivers. Most of them coming from France. I live near the borders to France and Switzerland. I get the police newsticker daily by email, about our county. There is much happened on our roads and streets near daily. Mostly traffic accidents. But also often damaged cars, but they escaped. And often burglaries. Every week. Day and Night. -

  14.  Delling Conley  When I see ie a video, I can have my own interpretation of it. (With my free of speech.) Whatever if my interpretation is right or wrong or whatelse. I´m open mind for discussion. Even with US citizen, who has their experiences because living there. If I would be in this situation like the trash collector, I would cooperate with the policeman. Just to help us both, and de-escalation.

  15. The US-Police etc. must create and publish rules for themselves. How to handle ALL, even non-white people. And how conseqences, if a police member break this rules. If they don´t do this, then I think, they accept and agree by treat people to death. But this is not the kind of police, that the people want. And don´t want to pay taxes for. Maybe this case happened to Floyd in Minneapolis was an accident. But it was not right. It was a big fault, of these police men. They could handcuff it. But no need, to press him down so long. And their ignorance, about what he said = also wrong. It´s time to spend full respect to the afro-american people, and stop racissm. Because they have lost another brother. No one can have both. You cannot have the bible, and pray to God etc. - and treat people like the slaves. Greetings from germany (europe). Skin color etc. doesn´t matter me. Everybody is a human.

  16. Wind energy production is amazing. How much energy only one system makes. I hope, they find a way to build it cheaper. So more possible. And how about long term calculation ? Does it make enoug profit ? USA needs jobs, where you cannot export in cheaper countries. But USA needs more Innovations for this.

  18. Now Everyone can see, that Trump make politics for the rich US-people only. Many Conservatives think, it would be possible and easy for Everyone, to get a job. But it isn`t. But these Conservatives don´t know it, because they were never in this situation and problems. -
