  10.  @josharpe5802  wrong. The test finds the virus's genetic material or its fragments. The higher the amplification cycle the higher the chance to detect it. Hence - manipulations with amplification. But even then it is STILL not a diagnostic tool as fragment of genetic material means absolutely nothing.
