  6. A wolf pack or a mountain lion would have eaten him for lunch. Bears however are not stupid. They hibernate thru winter.

  7. It is difficult to imagine a scenario where someone would find themselves in such a situation thusly equipped & unprepared. An unlikely scenario.

  13.  @jakeoly5109  fur trapping is about the only valid application of this craft that I can surmise. Fur farms have replaced trapping. And fur is not even popular anymore.
