  2. When I was 13 my buddies and I would go hiking & hunting together all the time back in the 1960s. Maybe times have changed? Or maybe we were just lucky back then not to run into a cold blooded murderer. Boys armed & hunting together are a bit more resilient than girls not armed. Heartbreaking. Anyway a 5 year old cold case is great to have been solved if so. Condolences to the parents. God's grace to the 2 murdered children.

  15. There are about 50 serial killers at large in the USA at any given time. 5 of them are likely in Calif. One of these 5 is apparently preying on Placer Lake recreationists. He stole her car too. Her remains will likely never be found. The car eventually will though. She would have been luckier had she been born into a poor family with no car of her own. Now the rich girl is dead. My condolences to the rich family. Darwin won this time.

On the Internet sleuth YouTube show Surviving Survivor, a former FBI agent & USN diver stated the killer may have been Kaylee's dad out to get the roommates and not expecting Kaylee herself to be there since her stuff had been moved out.
