  9.  @canadianbacon8220  yes you're right again: Most of the commentary has been that they were instantaneously crushed by the collapsing metal bulkhead. Now they are smashed fish food.

  10. Regarding the mechanism of death: Upon implosion everything would have gone pitch black dark instantly. Then instantaneously the hydrostatic shock of the crushing water from all directions at once would have knocked these passengers unconscious. And the extreme water pressure would have crushed their chests & lungs starving their unconscious brains of oxygen. Within 5 to 15 minutes their unconscious bodies would have died. It's like drowning only quicker. R.I.P. explorers. This is what happens when you take needless risks on unsafe vessels underwater. Poseidon is unforgiving.
