  3. Ive camped out with a lite backpacking tent & sleeping bag & poncho wrap in below freezing temps in snow on Mt Whitney. I did this for fun. Homelessness is like a perpetual backpack trip or bike-pack trip. You need the right gear. So: Panhandle during the day, Then stay warm at night.

  6. @pantera5548  been there done that recreationally !! Whatever happens to end you up on the street & losing your home just turns you into a full time permanent backpacker or bike-packer. Bike-packing is more fun: I have friends that have bike-packer recreationally across the entire USA !!
