  2.  @zilun  The treaty of Taipei was abrogated by Japan in 1972 and replaced by the 1972 China Japan agreement that stated Taiwan is a province of China. You can't even get Taiwanese to agree on Tiawan should be independent. In 2019 poll , only 27% of the people want independent. Also in 2018 the people chose to call their sport team Chinese Taipie instead of Taiwan 55 to 45. Go convince your people first.

  3.  @zilun  You are so funny. The only REAL Taiwanese are the indigenous people. Most Taiwanese aren't. The same survey in July 2019, 62% of Taiwanese want status quo. You can't even change the sport team's name . "Chinese Taipei" beat "Taiwan " 55% to 45%. That is a fact determined by voting not poll. So 55% people chose to be Chinese Taipeian than Taiwanese. No amount of spinning can change that. HaHa. The people had spoken.

Also Taiwanese in referendum in 2018 decided to go with "Chinese Taipei" instead of "Taiwan for their team name. And it wasn't even close 55 to 45.

Everyone voted knew that. And they lost 55 to 45. I am sorry you can't handle the truth. Out of curiosity how are going to spin the 1997 consensus and your constitution?

  6.  @yopyop3241  Interestingly, there is one thing both sides agreed on and had an united front. That is the Diaoyu Island. In 2010 conflict with Japan, people in Taiwan , and China all protested together against the Japanese. I am optimistic they will resolve their difference eventually without a war. Just need to get rid of the politician first.
