They provide services not judgement. Under UNCLOS Article 279 States Parties shall settle any dispute between them concerning the interpretation or application of this Convention by peaceful means in accordance with Article 2, paragraph 3, of the Charter of the United Nations and, to this end, shall seek a solution by the means indicated in Article 33, paragraph 1, of the Charter. UN charter Article 33 The Security Council shall, when it deems necessary, call upon the parties to settle their dispute by such means. The dispute can only be settled by the SEcurity Council.   13.  @arknessreapear4831  Look closely at the tariff. China only has 0.4% of steel market and zero car import. The tariff is NOT to reduce Chinese import since there is none. It is to raise domestic prices to get the union vote. Also notice there are tariff on critical minerals. This is a first. It is because US is starting to nationalized mineral mining. US has minerals too but it is unprofitable to mine. And China is restricting mineral export especially minerals used in weapon like Gallium and Antimony. DoD started mining for Antimony in Iowa last year and Gallium this year. So they are tariffing these material to raise prices. BYD is looking to build cars in Mexico. US is in great opposition. It is not about China. US needed prices high just to stay competitive. There are 3 factories starting by China in Europe. You can count on US to tariff Europe as well
