The Hong Kong lawyers are the most shameful and irresponsible. They know what the extradition law is about. In stead of explaining the bill, they distorted the bill, especially this guy Dennis kwok. As lawyers, if they disagreed with any part of the bill, they should make recommendation and amendment in stead of just bashing it. @KyrieRuwachHosanna They did listen. The made two amendments. One is to remove white collar crime from the bill, and second is to set the min jail term to 7 years. Those changes were made during the first reading by the pro-business or pro-Beijing legislators. The pan democrats made no recommendation. The pan democrats also had veto power on the bill until June when they lost the election and majority in the geographic constituency. Maybe the people have spoken?
