  3.  Bhum Brahmavira  No. What I am saying is One Country Two system. You will have to honor the One Country part. Advocating secession is not honoring One Country agreement.

  4.  Bhum Brahmavira  It is clear in the basic law and the Sino British declaration. National security is the responsibility of China, "one country". Under article 23 HK is supposed to have a national security law. So they put it in annex 3 per protocol pf the "one country two system". So what is wrong with that? Do you believe secession, sedition, terrorism and collusion should all be legal? Should politician receive funding from foreign government? Should getting paid to incite riot be legal as well?

  5.  @samarabob  You are correct that advocating independence is not a crime. But the act of secession is a crime. So if you are only marching then it is not a crime, But if if you start attacking the police setting fire etc. Then it would be a crime. That's for the US. I don't know how the HK law works. There is no specific definition.
