They're not getting paid. They arrested the funder and froze their account.

Yup, and nobody is talking about Taiwan's H1N1 out break right now either. 56 deaths.

@queenmonkeyhead What is the difference between 10,000 cases or 20,000 cases. How does that help you? How does that help China? Zilch. You want to know the trend and what to do about it. You can complain about incompetency but blaming China for reporting does not do anything. You got that?
2
In a small study, 261 original cases, it was shown 41% contacted the disease in the medical facility and less than 3% is from person to person contact. The report also indicatede this number will change because of evolving contact treatment meaning people are taking better precaution.

@kriskringle913 I just did a quick google. Respirators and mask do not filter out virus. They filtered out particles. They can be effective against biological weapon and chemical but not virus. A self contained system with oxygen would be the only one effective against virus. But it is 30lb. Remember Planet of the Apes, that's what they used in the lab. Here's a video explaining face mask and the virus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gASCBhA2bE4

@peekayboo How do you strike and treat people at the same time? You can protest but you shouldn't strike when there is patient.
1
The face mask law only applied to protest not face mask itself. Facemask can't prevent you from the virus. It only prevent you from spreading the virus.
1
The sneezing has only an effective distance of 1 meter. Even if it doesn't get into your nose and mouth, it can get onto your clothes and skin. So, change clothes washing your hands are critical to prevent the decease.
1
@happymoments-y6c I guessed you will need to wash you hand all the time. Or just stay away from people. I would just stay home until this is over. Here's a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gASCBhA2bE4

Are you saying we're running out of medical supply in HK? I know face mask ran out. We have to buy them in the US for our relatives. They ran out here too. We ended up paying HK$10,000 to buy and ship a box to HK.
1
A k257 Yes. The stores are all out of stock. We got lucky when they delivered a new batch. They were all gone before they hit the shelves.
1
@evdokimos It is a respiratory decease like a flu.
1
Why does it matter? Is it gonna help you stop the virus? What is the purpose of cover up? More conspiracy theory?
1
To make money.
1
Where are you gonna get food and water? quarantee and inspection are the keys.
1
The white shirt guys have been arrested and charged. Even HKFP has reported that. Your mind is so poisoned with hate you can't think straight. How does it benefit China by spreading the virus? This reminded me during SARS someone threw their dog out the windows because they thing animal carried the virus. Sad.
1
@ek940 You do know how to google right? Here's SCMP report in Aug. https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/law-and-crime/article/3023895/two-hong-kong-men-hit-riot-charges-over-mob-attack AS I recalled there were over 30 arrested and 13 were charged. This might too be outdated. More might have been charged. You are reading too much fake news, man.
1
@Cosmo1093 So let people die until the border is closed.
1
But once hauled into court every body expressed remorse. I don't think revolutionary will do that.
1
@havinalo Most importantly, where are the food coming from? People are not completely rational these days.
1
To make more money. Have you ever seen a doctor doing pro bono in HK?
1
@supremacy2040 Yes, China and Taiwan are the same. Chinese doctors are mostly in it for the money. That is why I stayed away from Chinese doctors in the US. At least some doctors here work in the free clinic in US
1
Taiwan also has a Swine flu H1N1 problem too right now. Last report is 56 deaths.
1
It is not feasible to close the border. HK is too dependent on China for food and supply.
1
They also forgot their oath to treat patient. Have you ever heard of a doctor doing pro bono?
1
Hong Kong relies on China for food , supply and merchandise. Most companies stock their components in HK to pay less tax. If the border is closed, there will be a shortage on food and many factories will close. 2 weeks of quarantine will screen out the sick.
1
How?
1
El Bottoo I think it is gonna take another month based on past history of other virus. H1N1 took the longest time. It didn't stop until July.
1
@kriskringle913 Can it filter virus? My understanding is they are mostly carbon filter to filter out the chemical.
1
@smokingsix Here's a video, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gASCBhA2bE4&t=14s It explain how masks work and how to use them. Regular facemask will not work. N95 will work but it will require some training to wear and it is hot. Users said they can only wear it for half an hour and will need a break. The video has better description. Be safe my friend.
1
Sometimes not. Watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gASCBhA2bE4
1
@hosenbanggash7602 The video is from Guardian not WHO
1
@hosenbanggash7602 Oh, I'm not telling you not to wear a mask. In the video, it tells you HOW to take off a mask to avoid transmission. It can be worse if you do it incorrectly wearing a mask.
