@mr.potter4622 Then rioters should not attack Maxim and Bank of China.

@rosszhu1660 Trump cannot have a personal account. He is POTUS. All statements are considered official presidential statement.

@MrBestard NBA player salary is determined by the gross revenue of NBA. $1.5B is a lot of money.

@armoredghost6180 Sport is tribal and not rational. Chinese fans see Morey's post as support for separatism. There is no rational in this case, it's all about emotion. Businesses will have to decide based on profit and nothing else. That is capitalism.

@siebenq9369 Neither do the HK rioters. They are tyranny in a more violent form. This is an impasse. People died for stupidity.

NBA is one of the more progressive organization. They are more concern with their own community issue than international issue. Morey has never been political before. I'm not sure but I think Kerr and Pop did speak on Saudi. Kerr's take on the Morey incident. He said he didn't know enough to talk about HK. But most NBA players do love China.

@PissMenn There are two parts to Morey's tweet; the text and the the graphic. Nothing wrong with the text; who wouldn't support freedom. The graphic however showed a symbol of Hong Kong independence. They are not even talking about the same thing. NBA: support freedom, China: territorial integrity is not negotiable. There is a basic misunderstanding nobody is talking about. Morey probably don't even know what the symbol is. The main problem here is there is a failure to communicate.
