  1. Actually, I think it is the other way. Media overhyped the virus. Of course Internet misinformation helped too. So now we have a global shortage on supply. That didn't happen with SARS and H1N1.

  5.  @technatezin  This is 99% fake news. Yes, I found it on one of the fake news site with no detail. Some site already pulled their article. Here are the questions: How do they know where to dig? It's a needle in the hay stack without the exact location. Second there is sovereignty issue here. US consulate by law is US territory. People are allowed to go in and dig without permission. Was warrant issued and served. So mosr likely fake news.

  6.  @orichalchem  It could be 10 times as much. The H1N1 case count were 10 times higher than the original estimate by CDC(US). It was only last year they corrected the number, 9 years later. The reason is they only count confirmed cases. Lots of cases went unreported. Wuhan is also short on test kit. So I don't doubt the number is higher but I doubt it is intentional. What is the motivation? Downplay the disease? You already lock down a city and built two hospitals. If it is not serious why would you do that. Have faith my friend. THe real number will be in in 10 years. The number is really for academic study any way and served no other purpose.

  7.  @annettevandriessche8734  No, you are confused. The cases were not dropping. NEW cases were dropping. I don't think it is very meaningful. The drop is not significant enough. Let's wait a few more days.

  8.  @zilun  They did that with SARS. 17 years ago. H1N1 was gone in about 3 months without much effort from the US. 105,000 died tho. There is a reason why they called it the flu season. How do you know this is not seasonal?
