@Definitely_Not_Sheev_Palpatine You do realize HK is part of China. And you do realize the only people killed are by the terrorist. And you do also realize the reason for the occupation as the terrorist said is to "force" everyone to obey the strike. These are the freedom they are fighting for. People want freedom from terrorist.

@Dididong11 Read the fine print. The declaration is for setting up one country two systems ONLY. It has been set up. Unless China take HK before 1947, the declaration is no longer useful. Also note that it is called a declaration not an agreement or treaty. The thing you should look at is the basic law which is written by China. In another word, China not the Brit gave you all the freedom you have today. Now compared before and after 1997, you have a lot more freedom and democracy, thanks to China. And so far you have lost NO freedom since 1997. This is really not about democracy, but more about discrimination of mainland Chinese. Just like Brexit or US's Muslim ban. US is using the kids to undermine China because China is overtaking them economically. If they are truly for democracy, then they won't be trying so hard to take away people's voting right.
