The lock down of Wuhan spoke volumes. Number were never correct any way. It took US CDC 9 years to get the final H1N1 number and it is 10X higher than the original. Do you think US have the right number right now? Fat chance. Historically, there is always a second wave. But it is usually less severe than the first. Forget about the number and stay safe.

They built two hospitals in two weeks. Conducting 1.5M test a day. Whatever the number is you still wouldn't trust it. If they tell you 1 M deaths you still wouldn't trust it. So why are you even bothering with the number. Of course it could be you are a brain washed idiots just want to pick something to complain.

But China is an authoritarian regime, if they want to prevent rumors and misinformation, that's rgeir choice. Question is what misinformation did they put out? In the US you have freedom of speech and tons of misinformation. Is that what you want? go ahead and go to CDC web site on information disclosure. They don't mind if you disclose confidential information but if you are wrong, you go to jail.
