Trump will change his labeling to justify his action. one example, Broadcom an American company bought by Avago a HP spin off. Can't get any more American than this.Broadcom wanted to buy Qualcom for $270B, The deal was rejected by Trump saying the company is Chinese because the CEO is Chinese living in Singapore. However, when he sanctioned Huawei, and US company can't sell to Huawei. All of a sudden Broadcom is now a US company and can't do business with Huawei. And there are similar stories with CK Hutchinson and Foxconn. Foxconn is a Chinese company that build iphone until it build a factory in Wisconsin. Now it's American? The tiktok case is about money. Peter Navaro, a Trump advisor is now saying Microsoft is not an American company, but a multi-National. In order for them to buy Tiktok they will have to sell the Bing, Skype and Windows OS. Tiktok's investors Sequoia and Atlantics are also proposing buying the company themselves. Why? Tiktok is valued at $50B right now. This is a fire sales. If they can get it for $25B, they can easily get $100B in IPO. FB is at $350B. There is a lot of money to be made here. Supposedly there are 7 other entities that want to buy them. FB Reel is coming out this month. Imagine if Trump put Tiktok out of business. How much is FB going to be making? Somebody is making a lot of campaign contribution. You see I am very cynical.

This should reduce corporation from competing with real home owner. Open up more land for low cost housing. All the abandoned warehouse and factory building can be turned into low cost housing. I see it in the basic law as the final goal. Plaese give section and article. If it is in the basic law, then you can sue the government. Bottom line is protest is a way to express opinion and influence policy. It cannot and should not dictate policy. We have protest here in US and none has change anything and it shouldn't. If it can, we'll have chaos. You have people also in the protest asking lower real estate price, higher wages. How is the government gonna do that. More constructive is maybe these people instead of complaining should make proposal like we do here in the states.
