Let's start with paying the people more and put a cap on CEO salary. UPS and FedEx CEO make $4M plus bonus. The post master general (post office's CEO) made less than $200K. And the post office sometimes make delivery for them. The trend has always been you ship the low skill to the country with the lowest wages. Chinese Companies have spent more than $70B setting up companies In Vietnam and Cambodia. Why? This because Chinese labor is getting more expensive and they want to make more money. It's about greed. Sorry to be cynical, but that's how thw world works.

  25. Sometimes CCTV can be very useful. Simon Cheng claimed he was abducted. Then they showed him in video soliciting prostitution 3 times in two weeks. The HK trials are mostly video based and all arrests seems to have accompanying video. Police seems to have video evidence on dispute. One girl put up a show to claim she was sexually assaulted by the police . After police produced the tape of her arrest. she changed her story to she heard some girls were sexually assaulted by police. You have to be careful. There are just too many lies out there.

The NASDAQ and NYSE listed CHINESE stocks has to meet the US accounting standard like everybody else including ATT and GM. It does not mean they won't cook the book like Enron and Worldcom. The China exchange listed stocks are less transparent. They only disclosed basic info like earning and EBITA. Like I said China is not communist any more. They are autocrats but not communist. If you insist they are, then you just made Moscow Mitch and Rand Paul communists because they have the same ideology. It doesn't matter what happened 30 years ago, things changed. About the same time, US sent national guard to the LA riot in 1992 and killed 68 people. So is US communist?
