@emmettmitcham1958 A stock exchange in a communist country? Actually CCP is more Republican than the Republican; No minimum wage, no worker comp (if you're injured you're on your own), no social security, no medicare, medicaid or any healthcare, lots of coal power plant, no capital gain tax, no inheritance tax. They are in no way communist, they are bad capitalist.

@T.R.R.Jolkien That is not true. There are two types of stock listings. The NASDAQ and NYSE listed CHINESE stocks has to meet the US accounting standard like everybody else including ATT and GM. It does not mean they won't cook the book like Enron and Worldcom. The China exchange listed stocks are less transparent. They only disclosed basic info like earning and EBITA. Like I said China is not communist any more. They are autocrats but not communist. If you insist they are, then you just made Moscow Mitch and Rand Paul communists because they have the same ideology. It doesn't matter what happened 30 years ago, things changed. About the same time, US sent national guard to the LA riot in 1992 and killed 68 people. So is US communist?

Misinformation again. The tweet was seen all over the place on the Chinese social media. And the talking heads has no idea what's happening in China. China perceived Morey is supporting separatism and rioter violence while Morey thinks he's supporting freedom. You can support freedom and denounce violence at thye same time. This not controversial. Why are American media and politicians have so much problem denouncing violence in HK? Ted Cruz this morning said he pressed the protesters to tone down the violence, but he still refused to denounce it. Why?
